As a non-clinical, non-traditional counselor, I have the honor of providing guidance & support on the transformative journey towards holistic well-Being through the wisdom of the Vedas. I currently reside & practice in the state of Oregon, a state of vibrant natural beauty that provides an ideal environment for discovering, learning & integrating ancient wisdom. As a dedicated practitioner, I have devoted my life to the path of Self Work, investing countless hours, resources, and unwavering commitment to my education & training in the Vedas, including philosophy, health, spirituality, ethical living, teaching & counseling techniques, psychology, and so much more. My passion lies in supporting & guiding my clients on their unique journey of Self healing, empowering them to unlock their full potential and lead fulfilling lives.

Oregon’s complementary & alternative medicine

One of the main reasons why I adore this beautiful state is its long history of alternative medicine. Since 2020, there has been an increasing demand for natural & holistic health solutions. Due to this demand, Oregon’s alternative health & medicine field is thriving with a wide variety of practitioners & institutions of all sorts, offering a diverse range of complementary & alternative therapies. The state is home to many acupuncturists, naturopathic doctors, herbalists, chiropractors, massage therapists, and many others. Oregon was one of the first states in the US to legalize the practice of naturopathic medicine, and it has a long history of supporting many other alternative health practices. Overall, the alternative health & medicine field in Oregon is a vibrant & growing industry that offers a range of opportunities for both practitioners & patients alike.

As people become more interested in taking control of their health, they are turning to alternative therapies to supplement or replace conventional medical treatments. This trend is reflected in the growing popularity of complementary & alternative medicine (CAM) in the US and around the world. In the state of Oregon, it is legal for an unlicensed but certified Vedic professional to practice & offer services. This is due to the fact that the Oregon Board of Naturopathic Medicine has recognized Vedic Counseling, Ayurveda and Yoga as CAM practices. CAM practices are not licensed or regulated by the state in the same way that conventional medical practices are. Instead, the practice of CAM is overseen by individual professional associations & accrediting bodies.

With all of that being said, it’s perfectly legal for individuals to seek out health & wellness services from a certified Vedic professional. While licensed healthcare providers may be necessary for certain medical conditions, working with a multiple-certified Vedic professional (like me! 🌻) offers individuals integrative & unique benefits to support their mental health & well-Being.
